These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of tempmailbox.email and the TempMailbox service (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2) What the Service provides

TempMailbox provides receive-only temporary email inboxes that allow you to receive emails online without using your personal email address. The Service may include optional features such as domain switching, mailbox history, favorites, premium domains, custom domains (paid plans), and an API (where enabled).

3) Important notice about temporary inboxes

• Temporary inboxes are designed for short-term use.
• Do not use the Service for banking, government services, legal matters, or critical account recovery.
• Emails delivered to a temporary inbox may contain third-party content. We do not control what third parties send.

4) Eligibility and accounts

You may use parts of the Service without registration. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5) Acceptable use (no abuse)

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Send, receive, store, or distribute illegal content
• Conduct phishing, scams, malware distribution, or attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems
• Harass, threaten, or violate the rights of others
• Automate excessive requests, scrape the Service, or disrupt infrastructure (including via bots) beyond reasonable use
• Bypass or evade security controls, access restrictions, or rate limits
• Use the Service in a way that violates the terms of another service or applicable law

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your use creates risk, abuse, or legal exposure.

6) Content and email messages

Emails received in a TempMailbox inbox come from third parties. You understand that:

• You may encounter unwanted, offensive, or harmful content sent by third parties.
• You are responsible for how you use any information in messages.
• Attachments can be risky. Download only from trusted sources and scan files before opening.

7) Paid plans, billing, and refunds

Some features may require a paid plan. If you purchase a plan:

• Prices, features, and billing intervals are shown at checkout and may change over time.
• Payments are processed by third-party providers. We do not store your full payment card details.
• Plan limits (history size, favorites, custom domains, premium domains, ad removal, attachments access) depend on the plan configuration.

Refunds, if any, are handled according to the policy presented during purchase and applicable law.

8) Advertising

To support the Service, we may display ads on some pages. Ad availability and placement may vary by plan (e.g., ad-free options). Ads are provided by third parties, and we do not endorse advertised products or services.

9) API usage (if enabled)

If API access is available, you agree to use it responsibly and within reasonable limits. We may enforce rate limits, revoke keys, or suspend API access to protect service reliability and prevent abuse.

10) Intellectual property

The Service, site design, branding, and original content are owned by TempMailbox or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service except as permitted by law.

11) Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, delivery time, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TempMailbox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service.

13) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms, create risk, or for operational/security reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where required.
